She desires teams and leaders not only to engage cross-culturally but to navigate the deeper dynamics of diverse, intercultural spaces.
Born in the Philippines to Hong Kong missionary parents, Alice grew up in Texas and has lived in the East Coast and in the Midwest before moving to the Netherlands. As a third-culture kid, Alice has spent much of her life exploring the dynamics of bicultural identity, alongside 25+ years of intercultural marriage.
Alice Atkins received her undergraduate degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she concentrated in Management and Marketing and holds a master’s in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Global Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary. Her research areas include Intercultural Leadership, Polycentric Missions, and Instructional Design & Co-creation. Alice is also a Certified Cultural Intelligence (CQ) professional.
